# Campaign Strategy

Use when a marketing objective requires coordinated activity across several assets, moments, or channels.

## Procedure
1. Define the business or customer outcome, target audience, timeframe, constraints, and baseline against which the campaign will be judged.
2. Identify the audience context or trigger that makes the message relevant and the behavioral progression from awareness through response or conversion.
3. Select the proposition, proof, offer, or action that best fits the audience and stage rather than forcing one CTA everywhere.
4. Assign channel roles across discovery, education, trust, conversion, follow-up, or retention based on where each channel contributes.
5. Define message sequence and campaign phases so repeated exposure builds meaning instead of duplicating the same claim.
6. Allocate budget or operator effort according to expected contribution, test needs, constraints, and measurement confidence.
7. Identify required creative, content, landing experiences, sales or support enablement, tracking, and cross-functional dependencies.
8. Define primary outcomes, leading indicators, guardrails, and how campaign learning will feed the next decision.

## Decision rules
- A campaign should coordinate a journey, not merely synchronize a posting calendar.
- Channel role follows audience behavior and objective, not channel popularity.
- Repetition can build memory, but identical execution everywhere wastes channel context.
- Measurement design should exist before spend or production scales.

## Quality gate
The strategy is ready when audience, objective, proposition, journey, channel roles, sequence, dependencies, resource logic, and measurement form one coherent plan and each major activity can explain how it contributes to the intended outcome.
