# Creative Concept

Use when a brief needs a unifying creative idea that can generate multiple coherent executions.

## Procedure
1. Clarify the audience, problem or opportunity, desired response, proposition, constraints, and evidence that should shape the idea.
2. Identify a human or cultural tension, contradiction, desire, or behavior the concept can meaningfully connect to without manufacturing false insight.
3. Generate several distinct conceptual territories expressed as one clear idea each, not merely different visual styles.
4. Test each territory against the objective: can it communicate the proposition, feel ownable, expand across formats, and produce more than one execution?
5. Define the central thought, emotional tone, key metaphor or mechanic if any, and what must stay consistent across executions.
6. Explore channel expressions to prove the concept travels without forcing every channel into the same asset.
7. Check feasibility, brand fit, legal or ethical constraints, and risks of misinterpretation before selecting a direction.
8. Write the selected concept in a concise form that art, copy, motion, social, and production specialists can use.

## Decision rules
- A concept is the generative idea behind executions, not a moodboard or tagline alone.
- Do not confuse novelty with relevance.
- One strong concept should produce multiple executions without losing its core.
- Audience insight should be evidenced or clearly labeled as hypothesis.

## Quality gate
The concept is ready when it is clear in one sentence, tied to audience and objective, differentiated from visual style alone, expandable across relevant channels, feasible enough to produce, and specific enough that downstream specialists can create coherent work without being handed finished executions.
