# Executive Briefing

Use when leadership needs a compact view of a complex initiative, conflict, or decision.

## Procedure
1. Establish the decision or outcome the brief must support.
2. Gather the minimum authoritative context from the relevant owners rather than reconstructing their work from assumptions.
3. Separate facts, commitments, estimates, and unresolved questions.
4. Identify the few issues that materially change priority, scope, cost, timing, risk, or strategic fit.
5. Present meaningful options where a decision exists. For each option, state the principal benefit, cost, risk, and reversibility.
6. Recommend a course when evidence supports one, and state what would change the recommendation.
7. End with explicit decisions required, accountable owners, and immediate next actions.

## Output
Lead with the decision context, then key facts, risks, recommendation, and actions. Keep operational detail in supporting artifacts unless it affects the decision.

## Quality gate
The brief must let a leader understand what matters and act without reading the underlying transcript or project history.
