# Initialize project guidance

Inspect the repository before editing. Capture only durable, project-specific guidance that future agents need: structure, build and test commands, style rules, validation expectations, and important safety constraints.

Create `AGENTS.md` when none exists. When one exists, preserve useful instructions and update only stale, missing, or conflicting guidance. Keep the file concise and verify every documented command against the repository.
