# Skill: Frame F&I penetration
Back-end gross is high-margin, but the disclosure/pricing rules are counsel's call (§3 #4 §2).
## Step 1 — Measure penetration and PVR
Product sales ÷ units and back-end gross ÷ units retailed (§3 #4).
## Step 2 — Read the product mix
Which products attach and which under-attach.
## Step 3 — Tie to total gross
How the back-end completes total gross with the front (§3 #3).
## Step 4 — Hold the compliance line
Route disclosure/pricing/lending questions to counsel (§2).
## Output
A penetration + PVR read with the back-end lever named and the compliance boundary held.
