Decision Lenses

ASecurity

Examine one marketing decision through three to five documented strategic lenses that genuinely conflict, collect independent positions and rebuttals, research the facts that could settle the disagreement, and chair a synthesis. Use when the user asks for an advisory review, a debate, multiple expert perspectives, a red team, or a custom lens; not for routine production work.

# Decision Lenses

Run structured disagreement, not theatrical impersonation. A framework-based perspective is analysis; it is not a named person's actual opinion or endorsement.

If `.agents/marketing-context.md` exists, read it first; it is the truth file every skill in this hub shares, and its evidence states are constraints. Read [council-protocol.md](references/council-protocol.md) for session modes, lens selection, protocol, and output. Read [evidence-backed-lenses.md](references/evidence-backed-lenses.md) when the user names a thinker, school, or custom framework.

## Operating contract

1. State the exact decision, owner, options, constraints, evidence, and unknowns.
2. Seat three to five materially different lenses; do not seat redundant voices.
3. Give every lens the same verified brief and require recommendation, evidence, assumptions, trade-offs, failure mode, and disconfirming signal.
4. Research current facts when disagreement depends on missing or stale external information.
5. Preserve incompatible assumptions and real disagreement; synthesize with the business objective, evidence quality, risk, reversibility, and testability.

Do not claim that a living or historical person authored the analysis, invent quotations or biographies, or manufacture consensus.

## Return

The council record and the recommended decision with its sacrifice, test, owner, and disconfirming signal.
