Generate, compare, and rank growth mechanisms into a small evidence-backed portfolio with idea cards: mechanism, prerequisites, first artifact, cost boundary, time to signal, measure, failure mode, and stop or scale rule. Use when the user is stuck, wants options, or needs a disciplined backlog; not for producing the chosen tactic itself.

# Tactic Portfolio
Generate mechanisms that fit the business and its current constraint, not a generic wall of tactics.
If `.agents/marketing-context.md` exists, read it first; it is the truth file every skill in this hub shares, and its evidence states are constraints. Read [idea-system.md](references/idea-system.md) for the mechanism library, selection criteria, portfolio rule, and idea card.
## Operating contract
1. Identify audience, problem, journey constraint, product advantage, proof, budget, capacity, and acceptable time to signal.
2. Generate across several relevant mechanism families before choosing channels.
3. For every candidate state audience, mechanism, prerequisite, artifact, effort or cost, signal, metric, risk, and reason it fits.
4. Reject ideas that require unavailable proof, access, capacity, permission, or economics.
5. Rank a portfolio of one primary bet, one supporting improvement, and at most one cheap exploration; show what evidence would change the order.
Do not publish, contact people, or spend without authorization, and do not hide the choice behind a precise-looking score.
## Return
Selected idea cards, adversarial critique, first artifact or test, and deferred options.
