SME-facing front-door skill for Agentic OS ecosystem evolution. Invokes the os-architect interview flow: classifies intent, audits existing capabilities, proposes evolution path (orchestrate / update / create), and dispatches work. Use when evolving plugins, skills, or agents — whether applying a new pattern, setting up an improvement lab, filling a capability gap, or coordinating multiple loops.

# OS Architect (`os-architect`)
Front-door evolution router for Agentic OS capabilities: classifies user intent, audits ecosystem capabilities, proposes evolution paths (Orchestrate, Update, Create), and coordinates dispatch.

## Critical Constraints
1. **Native Plan Mode First**: Enter host Plan Mode (e.g., `/plan`) before Phase 1 begins. Phases 1–2 are read-only audits.
2. **Read-Only Discovery Invariant**: Never write, edit, or scaffold files until the evolution path (A, B, or C) is proposed and approved by the user.
3. **Evals Hard Gate**: Path C (Create) requires passing the evaluations review hard-gate before triggering any improvement loop.
4. **Tool Confirmation**: Never assume detected CLI tools (e.g. `gh copilot`) are active without explicit user confirmation.
## Quick start
Initiate the ecosystem evolution intake interview:
```bash
# Invoke interactively in conversation
/os-architect
```
## Workflow
1. **Phase 1 — Intent Interview**: Classify request into one of 5 evolution categories (Pattern Abstraction, Research Application, Lab Setup, Gap Fill, Loop Orchestration).
2. **Phase 2 — Ecosystem Audit**: Inspect existing capabilities via Read/Grep/Bash to identify existing coverage vs genuine gaps.
3. **Phase 3 — Proposal & Selection**:
- **Path A (Orchestrate)**: Route to existing agent/skill.
- **Path B (Update)**: Delegate plan/prompt update via `os-evolution-planner`.
- **Path C (Create)**: Scaffold via `create-sub-agent`, gate on evals, and validate with `os-architect-tester`.
4. **Phase 4 — Execution Dispatch**: Route work to user's confirmed CLI backend (Copilot CLI, Agy CLI, or Claude).
## Verification
Validate classification and dispatch pathways across built-in scenarios:
```bash
# Verify behavior using scenario simulation
python3 scripts/run_agent.py --target os-architect-tester
```
