# architect:api
**Design API contracts** with OpenAPI specifications, request/response schemas, and authentication.
## Inputs

architect:api requirements="..." [style="rest|graphql"]
```
- `requirements` (string, required) — API requirements
- `style` (string, optional) — REST or GraphQL
- `auth` (string, optional) — Authentication method (jwt, oauth2, api-key)
## Outputs
